While I wasn't a watcher of Jericho, I have a certain amount of sympathy for folk who have their show canceled. Here's what they have done: http://www.nutsonline.com/jericho there is also a story on slashdot.com with more links. Apparently they have sent tons of nuts to CBS executives. Just wondering what commodity would be appropriate in the firefly universe?

First thought was strawberries, but they'd go bad in the mail. Then I thought "ice planet", but how would you get one and who would recognize it for what it is. Final thought was the ball and jacks that Kaylee and River were playing with at the end of "Out of Gas".

But isn't it kind of late to do this with Fox?

One thought was that we keep hearing that it is all about money; why not send money? Not a lot of money. But, I was wondering... how many nickels would it take to get their attention?

Of course all this balanced thinking ignores the fact that we already have spent lots of money on firefly series disks, loaner firefly series disks, Serenity, special Serenity showings, t-shirts (not even wet ones), and comic books.

But the idea of having a mass mailing to these folk still intrigues me... if it is non-gross that is...
