Joss make a movie. I'll go see it. Twice! Okay...thrice!

What about a T.V. movie? Maybe if one was written that was good enough, and the ratings for the three new ones during the summer were good, why not a T.V. movie? I think that would be pretty cool.

I conur. Someone should suggest this. I think that a good time to release the film would be in April 2005 - just before the final Star Wars film.

I think they should definitely get the original cast onboard, and Joss should write and direct. If I had one wish, it would be that they cast
Chiwetel Ejiofor as someone, perhaps an Operative. He'd be really good at that.

Not that it'll ever happen.

I doubt it would translate very well up on the big screen. Sounds like a good idea, but really, who would let such a thing happen?

Certainly not Fox. Joss should make proposals to some other studios. Universal might be a good place to start, they might give him a few million for the project.

This thread is so sad and funny! Here we are, dreaming about a cancelled tv show becoming a movie. It'll never happen in a million years, let's face it.

It's pathetic, wishing for the impossible. As much as I like Firefly, let's get real, people.

See what happens when you get a bunch of sad, pathetic fans of some show that never even ran for a full season and let them post stuff on a message board ?

I've heard of this "Firefly" show. It was some failed sci-fi thing on FOX that nobody watched. (Who watches anything on FOX?) Sorry, but anyone who thinks that such a thing could be made into a movie is clearly delusional.

What are y'all talking about? I mean, come on -- who'd want to watch a 2 hour feature film about fireflies? I think that kind of boring science crap is better left to Nova or the Discovery Channel. Or public access.

Audie Murphy could have had Sylvester Stallone for breakfast.

Lol, it's not about the firefly insect, it's a TV show! Imagine a cross between Enterprise, Charmed and the Star Wars prequels. -- it's so aweseome! Plus, horses.

Ooh, you know what I like in sci-fi flicks? Crazy people. Those are always the greatest.

But who would make a whole movie out of something stupid like a 'western in space'. I mean, come on!

Besides, who was in it? A guy who was famous on TV 25 years ago. All the rest are unknowns. No star power at all. It'll never get off the ground!!

I mean really, we all just have to face the facts. It'll never get made unless Joss succumbs to public demand and gives the crew lazers and a ship with more pizzaz.

People just like their movies predictible and steriotype now-a-days.
