Is it just my imagination or have I notice a subtle change in Firefly's stature. I'm noticing that a number of the reviews for Serenity now refer to Firefly as a short lived series instead of referring to it as a show canceled by Fox after 11 episodes.

RESPECT??

With time comes delusion. People have probably forgotten what went on back then, or they are ignoring it. Probably ignoring it to make good with F*X. After all, how are you supposed to get the inside scoop from a company if you keep printing that they are evil

Basically, PR of a sort.

At least, that's my opinion.

EDIT: I don't think that I've ever read a review that stated FF was canceled after 11 eps. I've read all over the place, FF refered to as unduely/untimely/etc canceled, canceled before its time, etc. But, never anything so specific. Perhaps that just because I tend not to read reviews.

You may be right. The canceled after 11 eps was not meant to be a quote. However my point was that canceled implies Bad/failure, while short lived implies good/successful but just not on the air very long.
I do think the movie is a vindication of sorts, I just read an article that stated that, with DVD Sales/rentals Serenity is now probably in the black (probably because the studios don't release that kind of info) not by allot, but she made money. And at least in the stores around here Serenity is still in the best seller section not just in with all the other titles they have for sale.
