The Darwin Awards salute the improvement of the human genome by honoring those who accidentally kill themselves in really stupid ways. Of necessity, this honor is generally bestowed posthumously.

Smarts. That's what you got. Smarts.

Seriously that's just sad. I thought maybe they hit the two tubes together and they shattered and sent shards of glass at the two, but filling them with fuel and lighting them on fire is the worst idea they could have come up with.

I can't even understand how it ever seemed like a good idea. It's one thing to use glass tubes as swords, another to actually put gasoline in them. But to actually light them?

I think they have a problem with their brains being missing.

What effect did they hope to acheive by putting fuel on the inside. Even if it didn't explode, all it is going to do is give a flame up the top like a cigarette lighter. Did they want their lightsabres to look like Olympic Torches or something???

You are absolutely correct, lissa. And there are oceans of actuarial data to support your assertion. Perhaps the true 'Darwinnowing' in this tale is the girl getting AFU'd.

Zoid darling, the special effects in the Episode III may be better, but you have to admit that the plotline in this this video is probably far superior.

And I'm doing splendidly by the way. You should drop by SereniTREE, we're having some sort of war. Its very exciting.

ebo':

(Trailer Voice)
"You'll laugh!
"You'll cry!
"You'll kiss seven-fifty goodbye!"

(NB: Amended to account for inflation.)

The pyrotechnics would undoubtedly be very lifelike. But the dialogue would probably be a little sparse:

(BOY)
Roight! Now, you hold 'em, Jenny, while I flick my Bic!

(GIRL)
Oooh, David! You're so clever! I c'n hardly wait 'til..."

(*Flick! Flick!*)

(BOY & GIRL)
Eeeeee-yaaaaahhhh!!! (*sizzle, pop, sputter*)

FIN

Definitely better than "The Grudge", I reckon...

Critically,

zoid

P.S.
Do you suppose they smoked after?

P.P.S.
All kidding aside, I hope the kids pull through.
