Okay, I am so angry right now. I went over to the Serenity board on IMDb, and someone posted the biggest spoiler EVER in the TITLE OF A THREAD THAT SAID "Spoiler" UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't looked at IMDB but remember there are a lot of false spoilers out there and misleading thread titles. I've read several major things that I know to be not true. People sometimes infer things from what they've read and post them as fact.

I'm one of the most spoilerphobic people ever and I sympathise immensely (I've been spolied hugely for Harry Potter 6 and Dr. Who in the space of one week). I wish people would be more considerate. But I've seen the movie and I'm sure you'll enjoy it just as much, despite what you think you might know.

Heb speaks sooth. I spent a large portion of the BDM screening tensing up around a HUGE and, as it turns out, FALSE spoiler from a troll over at the UOB (curse him to a nasty rash in an awkward place, that flares up mightily in the company of attractive members of the opposite sex).

Don't believe everything you read. Joss will provide.

Before I went to see the 05/26 screening in DC, I avoided ALL Firefly/Serenity forums like the plague. I was too scared of being spoiled. I know its a long way to September but, had I not seen the screening, I would not be here talking.

Be careful

Heb, with you there - NOBODY read BBC news articles about Harry Potter 6. They should be ashamed of themselves!

Yeah that's where I got spoiled. After being spoiled for book 5 last year as well.

About a week ago I was reading a news article about Dr. Who that in the last sentence explained the entire plot of the season finale. I e-mailed the journalist to ask him to put in spoiler warnings and he did apoligise. Non Sci-Fi journalists just don't seem to understand the concepts of plot and suspense.

'If I had my way you would know nothing as surprise is the purest state you can attain' - approximate Joss Whedon quote.

I was gonna leave this board about now too if I hadn't already seen the movie.

Tell me about it, you would have thought journalists would have understood though. Surely they are literate and read books - I can't imagine anybody wouldn't be annoyed if somebody ruined the end of a book they were reading.

It is so gorram annoying. I haven't seen Serenity yet and I am avoiding any FFF thread which may have a spoiler. It limits me somewhat but at least I have less to read! I am lucky though, I only got to this board and this is the most considerate one. From what I hear the OB is a nightmare.

Lets hope the Beeb is wrong heh!

Cheers, I noticed you are in the UK. Pop over to the Serenity-con threads and numerous shindig threads, maybe we can persuade you to meet up?

That goes to everyone else reading this as well. We want more converts to the UK meets!

Hi,

I had planned to attend the Oxford Browncoat shindig but that got cancelled. I've had exams and stuff for the last couple of months so couldn't make the last meet, though I was at Serenity but I might be going to the London Film and Comic Con. I believe some people are meeting up there?

Yep, there is a thread for that meet-up

I can't go though - I'm at Glastonbury!

I get the work thing, I have all my deadlines in the next two weeks!

Try to come to Serenity Squared in November.
