Thought the show was good but not great (then again, I didn't think "Firefly" was great until the third or fourth episode).

Some random thoughts:

It was good to see Baldwin back as sort of "Jayne Lite." A lot of great lines.

I liked Peter Coyote as almost an "anti-Watcher." He reminds me of a combination of Jack Crawford and Hannibal Lecter.

is it me, or does the main girl look a LOT like Sarah Michelle Gellar in profile. Not from the front, particularly, but in profile, the chin, mouth, and even nose looked awful familiar.

For most of the episode, I thought the best part was the sequence where the agents try to research their new associated and ultimately paw through her bag. Great moment.

And then there was the "Simon Gunther!"--BANG moment. Not quite as cool as Mal kicking Crow into the engine, but comparable.

I give it 3/5 stars for the episode, but 5/5 for potential (assuming, of course, Fox doesn't screw everything up and pull it off the air in favor of the unaired "Point Pleasant" episodes...).

I have to agree with you on this review, I enjoyed the show but I wasnt wow'd. Story was a bit slow but its a pilot have to get to know the chars, right. I did like the part where she looked at the guy and said I have seen much scaryier guys than u.

I'm thinking that her front might be what keeps this show on the air. I mean we all know that Fox will pony up millions to keep stacked on the air. I think this show might have the right mix of story telling and shiny objects (to distract Fox execs) in order to keep it on the air. I'm optomistic on this one for now.
