I'm not going... (@#%$$#@!)

But I my reasons so just bear with me. I went to the first day of all three Lord of the Rings movies, and the Harry Potter movies. And with all of them was an eerie sort of cold excitement... mainly from sitting outside for several hours in december. (Not my brightest move) But we were kept warm by our zeal and vigor and love for the fandom. The pre-screenings are fine and good and needed to keep us hungry. But will we loose the whole feeling of oneness that comes from waiting? The feeling that comes from our pain and anguish in knowing something is coming and it's going to be great and not being able to do anything about it?

Sure, we see the movie, but do we experiance the epic saga of our fanness come to a close? Not really....

So no! I am not going to any of the screenings until september 30, and even then I'm going after school's out and I'm with all my friends. (luv ya mom... but this is serious!!!) It was planned on being this kinda birthdayserenity4.0kidsrock kind of event. So I refuse to go to any of the screenings... I don't care what you say. I am a true fan, and I want my love to be complete through the waiting that I have to do. How many beginner students earn a deploma after the first week? How many five year old karate students have black belts? I will wait... and I will reach enlightenment.... loose your patience... the choice is yours.

If you have read this then each and everyone of you has been jupped!! This is my excuse for not being able to buy a ticket, and not being allowed to get out of school to see the film anyway!!

I definatly see your point. I also did the midnight showing of all the LOTR movies . And I easily could have done the same w/ this movie. But the opportunity to see the BDM, months early, w/ other loyal fans....it's still hard to believe....well, it's just amazing to see how far all this has come from a cancelled t.v. show.

I feel the same way. Although I must admit if a ticket to a screening fell in my lap...but your reasons for wanting to wait are the same as mine for not caring whether I do or don't get to see a sneak.
