I was just on Robotech.com the other night. I don't post there, but I lurk all the time. I have for a very long time. I have the dvds. I think somewhere in Jake's closet is a stack of comic books from the sentinels.

I've always wanted to dress up as Lisa and Rick for Halloween, but he doesn't dress up.

Used to be when I was younger, but then I saw how they "reaver-ised" the original Japanese series.

Interesting comment in the thread about the guns, though. Anyone know if it's true?

Yeah, I am a big fan of Macross. In fact I only buy Yamato Valkries.

But when I was 10 thats how I discovered it, through Robotech.

I love them both , just seperately.

Harmony Gold I have mixed feelings about, but they have good relations with Macross. They sell the Macross DVDs (not robotech) on the robotech site and had a key role in the Remastered Macross set coming to DVD.(They had one of the original reels).

I'm more a fan of the Robotech & Sentinels novels by "Jack McKinney" (a.k.a. James Luceno & [the late] Brian Daley). They hang together better than the franken-animé series.
