Did anyone mention that Fox's 8pm movie last friday did worse then Firefly does?

CBS started things off at 8 p.m. with "48 Hours Investigates" surgical procedures to lose weight (just in time for the holidays), 6.5/12. NBC was second with its movie "It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie," 6.0/11, while ABC came in third with "America's Funniest Home Videos," 5.2/10. FOX rounded out the top four with "The Brady Bunch in the White House," 2.3/5.

See? Firefly would have atleast gotten them a 3/something.

Good point.

This is the type of statistic worth mentioning in an e-mail or (better yet) postcard to Fox.

Keep those cards and letters headed to Fox (go to www.fireflysupport.com for addresses, etc.)

Your insights and praises for the program can only do good!

And, based on the hate posters that popped up at the official Fox board, you might congratulate Fox for its bravery in showing the "love" scene between Inara and her client. Though it seemed tame to me, I bet the scene caused a great deal of internal discussion at the network before airing. And I'm certain that scene is compelling angry zealots everywhere to send messages and postcards to Fox.
