Everyone who's been trying to get tickets and posting here as they've done it PM me... there may be a way around this after a conversation I just had with someone *not* on the ticket line at the festival but who works there nevertheless.

I have done too ... I don't know, website said sold out an hour ago and then when people's baskets got emptied, it stopped saying it...

I think the phone line is really the only thing we can trust, if anyone could get through...

I suspect that people had just managed to fill the baskets, reserved the seats and then when their, ahem, booking process realised they hadn't bought the tickets after 20 minutes, the seats were released again.

So maybe there are still some seats in virtual limbo at the moment.

I just got two tickets for the 24th and 2 tickets for the Reel Life thing with Joss (who WILL be there for it!)

I've still got more in my basket online, so if that suddenly decides to start working I will sell these tickets at the price I bought them for to the people on here.

I'm happy; my friend at St Andrews has been trying to get tickets over phone and website, and finally broke through on the phones; good thing I suggested the booking line though, looks like the website wasn't doing anyone any good...

He's not convinced that he's got tickets until they're in his hands though, and I don't blame him!

Okay, I have two tickets, and here's how I did it.

I had them in my basket, but the total was incorrect, so I phoned them (NOT THEIR TICKET HOTLINE, they're general telephone line), and I described the error there. I got put through to someone else who was very friendly, and let me book over the phone with her. So I have the tickets, and she said they're like golddust over there at the moment.

Eh, thanks for the heads up. Its showing it again now.

I'm at the point now where I'd still bite anyone's hand off to take a spare ticket, but I'm giving up the second my basket gets emptied with the Joss Q&A in it. Which will be soon. Ah well tried both the site and phone contantly for as long as possible. A few times entered my card details and got weird errors or blank pages. So I too now have a nice supervisor checking to see if I managed to get any bought.

Anyone after tickets for the 2nd showing phone up now!!

Due to a messed up web ordering system that just couldn't cope I didn't end up with no tickets. I ended up with 4 for the first showing and 6 for the second! I released the 6 since I couldn't aford that much off my card otherwise I would've have sold them on to people here but at least you might stand some chance now.

Rob, I sent you an e-mail but I'm not sure if you got it but you can offer them up to some other lucky soul :)

Everyone else, call their helpline! Call now! As I also got to inputting my credit card details and then got error screen, I called to ask if they'd actually gone through onto my card anyway.

Apparently they hadn't, but she sold me four tickets anyway!

And she told me about how much she loved Buffy and Angel but if she ever met Joss Whedon, he would be getting a stern talking to for the insanity his fans inflicted on them :D

Yeah - on the internet, I'm getting errors whenever I try to do anything, whether it's with Serenity or any other film! The phone, I've had engaged all morning and ringing through to message three times. I think I might just give up and hope the gods will provide me with some other way to get a ticket, and that if not, I can make one of the other screenings!
