Yes, and if anyone gets any definite news of what's going on, please let us know. I can't get much info here.

Before anyone starts panicking, to date this is absolutely nothing like the previous incidents. Yes, it's worrying that it's happened again, but the main damage would appear to be the great inconvenience its going to cause everyone. All my friends in the West End are just annoyed they're facing a long walk home again.

I hope everyone is okay.

It all sounds rather strange.

And now my mum's clucking round me because I'm going up to London on Sunday...and now she doesn't want me to go...and shes trying to see if Dad will drive me up there...oh dear.

My brother (who works for london underground) was checking trains at warren street, and he found a package, and it was dealt with then it all kicked off again.

He is ok, still down there, but ok, He wont be able to get home tonight though, so will go to our mums.

This has really shaken me, im not especially close to my brother, but he just became a daddy, and it could have all been taken away

I'm glad your brother is okay. Really and truly glad.

I'm also concerned that it's happened again so soon after the last catastrophe. I can't imagine it's another attempt by the same faction, but the idea that a copy cat of some kind would try to monopolize on that is... well, aggravating.

Carol, hon, you're having quite a week aren't you? Well done to your brother for actually being observant.

PR - I'm off to London on Saturday. Got War of the Worlds to see, Serenity comics to buy & cocktails to drink. Tell your mum not to worry - everthing needs to go on as usual - if it doesn't, the terrorists win.

It's fine, I think only one person's been hurt, and that was someone carrying one of the rucksacks. It's nothing major, except that I might have difficulty getting home tonight. I think it happened in my lunch break - I'm working up in Leicester Square at the moment - and public transport seems to have ground to a halt - the underground station was blocked off completely.
Apart from that, it's nothing really, at least nothing on what happened two weeks ago. Just to scare us I think.

So no worries folks!

Late home FLF.

latest news is that 2 people have been arrested, with the poilice looking for more.

I think we will find out for sure that this was a copycat bombing attempt - the old phrase `lightning does not strike twice in the same spot` I think is raver relenvant here

I`m glad nobody has been seriously hurt & the effect has been minimised fro everyone including those reporting in.

Those two arrests are believed to be unrelated. I'm just glad that the terrorists fucked up and failed to kill anyone. But it was very worrying for a while in the afternoon before we knew that.

This American stands with you guys. Just remember you're not Spaniards, the Brits won't kowtow to terrorist psychopaths.

US and UK, we stand together!

At times like this I'm reminded that there is a great thread that was unfortunately labelled a troll thread.

As a Londoner, I'd like to say thanks to everyone offering support.

Both times, I've had friends who worked near to the incident sites. One friend of mine walks through Russell Square (where the bus was blown up) on her way to work every morning. When it happened, most of the mobile phone networks collapsed so it wasn't possible to phone people straight away to see if they were OK. It led to a very tense day of waiting. That was the worst part for me. Everyone I know was OK in the end, though.

Maybe this time, since the terrorists screwed up, it will give the police investigation more leads.

Once again: Thanks.

Pan

I maintain my belief that the terrorists screwed up the moment they decided it would profit them to attack England.

My thoughts and prayers are with the affected as well.
