Has anyone on this list ever done business with www.empiricalfilm.com?

They have some tasty looking DVD sets unavailable elsewhere that are most certainly bootlegs.

I would love to pick-up their Batman: Beyond and Justice League complete sets but am hesitant because:

* their website posts no physical mailing address of any kind.

* Info contained on various pages indicates to me that Empirical Film used to be called DVD Salon... why the change?

* Though text on their order form indicates credit card info is safely encrypted, my browsers show the order form to be unsafe and not protected.

Sounds like a fly-by-night company... but I sure wish it didn't!

My advice is: If it smells like a sewer rat ... it probably ain't a nun that got caught in a flash flood.

Stay away from anyone who gives you the wiggins. Stay away from empiricalfilm.
