From the Cinescape article:

Quote:

By now, it’s no surprise that FIREFLY is still on the bubble. While Friday’s 9:00 p.m. show JOHN DOE has already been renewed despite similar soft ratings, the network still hasn’t made its decision whether to renew FIREFLY for the full year and will be taking it off of Fridays after the two-part pilot airs next week despite three other episodes already in the can (“Trash,” about the return of Mrs. Reynolds; “The Message,” about the crew transporting the body of an old soldier that corrupt police want back; and “Heart of Gold,” where the crew engages in a little Magnificent 7 action as they're hired to protect a whorehouse).

I want to see these dammit!

Uh......they will air them!

Yes the show is cancelled which means they will air the ones that are made and in the can, but will produce no more.

You'll see the eps, on Fox.

What chance do we poor deprived Brits have now of seeing this show. I love it already and I have only seen trailers and spoilers and photos.

I think we've got a good chance. 15 eps is enough for a good run on Sky and Fox will be looking to sell it overseas to make back some money.

You ca, get them on the net (or get someone to get them for you on the net which is the thing I do).

I've seen most of them and I live in France...

According to Cinescape, FOX wil not air the episodes. According to a Tim Minear post @ buffistas.org, FOX has promised to somehow air the episodes. And Zap2it says that the fate of these episodes is currently uncertain.

So who knows what'll happen?

I would download if my darn isp would allow me on long enough and I can't get gozilla to work.

I guess I could try, do you know the address for downloads?

Best thing to do is snag a copy of WinMX ( www.winmx.com, I think) and log on. Do a search for video files named "firefly", and quite a bit should pop up. Unfortunately, I know firsthand that finding fast Internet connections in Great Britain is a pain in the arse, so downloading may take quite a while...

... but the episodes are definitely up there.

History doesn't always repeat itself. Sometimes it merely shouts "Weren't you listening the first time?!?" and lets fly with a club.
