... And I, for one, am stoked. Not been this excited about a film since December, 1979 -- and if you can't guess which film that was, well, you probably ain't old enough to remember when Trekkie was still the preferred term, either.

I've spent the last two years on this website, and from the start I felt the same energy that permeated early Trek fandom, just as primal, just as passionate, but even more focused. A family of the mind, dedicated to bringing back our favorite shared dream.

Two months to go... and to think, if the execs hadn't changed their minds, we would've just passed the "3 months since I saw the BDM!" mark...

... not sure how I feel about that, actually...

I'm still wondering about the release date. I noticed that the newest trailer still doesn't have it listed. Makes me think they still might be playing with moving it a couple weeks somewhere else.

the movie is not the Series. Only the facts have been changed, to irritate the innocent; the names of the actors and characters remain the same

An April 22 release might not have left enough time for Joss (rookie film director) to feel he could safely fire Carter Burwell & find another composer. Wait 'til the final cut, & see how you like the music. Until then, have a little faith in the guy who wrote the melody to the Firefly theme, & hired Greg Edmonson.
