This astronaut was so fed up of other astronauts pinching his copy that he went for an EVA outside the space shuttle - only he forgot he couldn`t turn the pages with those gloves of his

If you repost the image please remember to Copyright it NASA & Zol. Thanks

Classic!

Hate to point it out, but the comic isn't reflecting off the guys helmet. Other than that, well done, looks really good. See if you can get the back in there somehow.

PIE!

Only had the front as i didn`t take either pic - although the reflection in the faceplate does show something

Lol, it's a good pic, but...

while we're on the subject... somebody at Houston apparently played the Enterprise theme the morning of the spacewalk.

Wow, and I thought going to London was a long way to pick up a comic book.

At least they didn`t have to go to the Planet Mars.

I`m hoping to get a feww of the bugs out of the image -which should make it look slightly better - I`ve already softened the edges and just waiting to put the rear of the comic in the reflection

Actually, those gloves are made of a rubbery material (it almost feels slightly sticky) so that the astronauts can hold on to their tools without them slipping out into space, so I don't see why said astronaut wouldn't be able to slide the pages across. She just wouldn't be able to lick her finger to turn the pages
This is what I get for working at the National Air and Space Museum...I talk about astronaut suits at least 4 times a week!

No power in the 'verse can stop me!

I hear tell of a big ten foot version of the Serenity comic book that was spotted on the moon in a trench. It was emitting this weird signal (one that can't be stopped, BTW)

Nice cover, Dave Chrisisall

Everything is perfect on the picture, the comic is blended on the helmet too. But its truly a fake. The earth shouldnt be on the helmet.

LOL - sorry, but in that case you need to phone up NASA about the Earth in the helmet reflection bit, this was mildly modified from an actual photograph - adding the comic, reflections, name badge & Firefly patch.

The original photograph is as shown but with a `For Sale` sign, taken in 1986 about 20 years ago!

well, I did have to go off memory, but 2 years off isn`t bad, I`m sure the original info was put out in one of my replies about this somewhere.
