UK trailer attached to The Island

Just been to see The Island starring Ewan Mcgregor and, as for the last 2 months worth of cinema trips, my heart skipped a beat when I saw the UIP logo followed by the Universal logo. This time, however, it was not the trailer for Pride and Prejudice that graced the screen but the trailer for Serenity.

This ought to be a really big film for the trailer to be attached to, unfortunately though The Island has been tragically underated and so not so much.

During the trailer there were a couple of laughs from the audience but that was about it. My friend who was with me, who likes firefly but not enough to buy the dvds, thought it looked good. I would have thought the audience of The Island ought to overlap with the target audience of Serenity.

Anybody else seen the Island? What did you think?
