Erm, any chance someone could just tell us what it actually says rather than being cute and coy about it?

You know, the whole Joss reviving the dead series-makin' the fans happy thing, nothing new, but more places sayin' it!

The flick will be BIG!!!

Hey, I was saying that about Star Wars ages ago. Wrote an article for this site and everything.

Glad more people are catching on, though.

do you mean premiere magazine?

"It's about how much freedom you can take away from somebody before they either fold or fight," Whedon says. "It's about the right to be wrong and the nature of human beings, that they need the freedom to be wrong. That they cannot be made to be better or perfect."--Joss Whedon on Serenity

I watched Eh...vasion too. Can't say I was at all impressed. Had a much better time watching the season premiere of "Lost." Now THAT is a show!

BTW, has anyone seen the commercial for the LOST rip-off? Something called, "How Did I Survive?"

Captain Pete
"What can Brown do for you?"

Hey, Hey!!! I thought we was talkin' about our BDM and BDH! Why would anyone want to go off topic for second-rate hack drivel! BTW, the promo has been popping up everywhere - very, very, very cool...

Someone said to me the other day that Joss refuses to return to TV. Is this true? :(

First, Lost is not 'second rate' or 'drivel'. Although Invasion may well be.

Second, Joss has indicated he prefers the freedom of cinema. However, if he got the opportunity and wasn't otherwise occupied, he'd probably be open to doing another show.

It's around the gorram corner! I talk to customers, a big # of them tell me it looks good, some tell me that the tv commercial shows too much! And they haven't even seen the series, these ones!
Inevitable, you as psyched as I am?

This is gonna be the BIGGEST little opening they ever saw in Hollywood, I have that feeling...

Joss will rule yet Chrisisall

Well, Lost is, er, lost on me. Whatever.

I see a groundswell of support for our BDM--wouldn't it be cool if the second weekend exceeded the first? That ever happen?

That's what I'm betting, that the second will equal or exceed the first.

I can hear it now....
"Did you see that new movie, Serenity? My friend took me to see it, and wow was it intense! Like Star Wars mixed with The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly!!! I have to see it again, it went by too fast!"

It will seduce the masses...

All the marbles Chrisisall

You have no idea. I banned myself from the boards for weeks; my powers of spoiler-resistance were getting low--feel like a damned junky. But now I know that my fix is only a week away. I've actually sworn off all (OK, most) Firefly-related stuff, just to whet my appetite. I've recruited several new Browncoats, so we'll have a great group of folk out there (gonna wear my fighting elves t-shirt and my Jayne hat). Basically, my strategy is to try not to think about it.

It's funny. I remember writing a letter to Universal say back when it looked like there wasn't gonna be a movie. Now look at us! Hate to flog a dead quote, but "We've done the impossible, and that makes us mighty!"

AND it's gonna make Star Trek's movie comeback look like warm jello by comparison (and don't get me wrong, I LOVE that film!).

We'll laugh, we'll cry, we'll kiss eight bucks goodbye (over and over).

I purposely haven't seen ALL of the new trailer on tv for the same reasons you prolly haven't either, right?

AUGHHHHHHAGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Chrisisall gettin' crazy

Seduce them like Saffron and her tender kisses.

By that I mean, passing out and waking up with an empty wallet, but with fond memories of those lips and wanting some more.

Yeah...good analogy. Long as nobody gets stubborn and has to be kicked in the head!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Maybe we'll leave the kicks to the head for the inevitable naysayers and better-thans.
