Now that we're in the final countdown, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you, Haken, for keeping this site going for these past years. During all those long months while there was bad news for our 'verse, or no news, it has always been a treat to come to your site, such a great resource and community.

Pretty soon our little secret world's gonna hit the screen and bust wide open, and I'm betting that things will get quite noisy and frolicsome in here. Lots of houseguests and long-lost family gonna be showing up in about a week.

So I really appreciate all that you've done to help get us here. When I read your quote on the faq page, it says it a lot about you. And about all of us too. Thanks again.

What can I do to help?

Thanks for giving those who ay not speak anywhere else have an important and valued voice in this crazy world of ours!

Where else can a 16-year old guy (from British Columbia, Canada)start a successful Caption Game, even one based on an earlier-started even more successful Caption Game that is known throughout cyberspace? I am proud of my game, even to be called "The Other One" is an honour, because of the environment and community that surrounds it.

I've been visiting here since just before Firefly went off the air. Was here for the campaigns, the last ditch efforts. Was here for news of where to get the episodes in the correct order before the DVD came out. Was here for the DVD release. The giveaways to the Navy. Was here for every rumor. Was here for every fan-vid. Was here for the rumors of movies and the realities of movies. Was here for every back-stage snippet and fan/extra tale. Was here for the waiting, the pre-screen, the other pre-screen, the other pre-screen. Was here for the reviews. Was here for the idle talk in periods of quiet, the angry talk of politics, the thoughtful talk of philosophy. Was here for disasters and intrigues and storms and debates.

Am here now, and will be here tomorrow.

I like it here.

Hooray for Haken!!

When we watched the show on TV we had no idea there was this online community working hard trying to keep Firefly flying. The first inkling we had was when we got the DVD set a year later and watched the special features and found out about the Variety ad. I did a search and this is the first site I found, and boy am I glad I did. This is truly my favorite place online.

It's a good place to call home. Great job.

Now let's cross our fingers that everything holds up under the massive inflow of peeps we'll hopefully be seeing after next week.

Thank you Haken!
This is, and always has been, the very best Firefly site. This was the place to hang out with the pain of the show canceling,
with wanting to discuss the unaired episodes from the DVDs,
with wanting to read fan fic and collect fan art because I just couldn't let go of the show...

and then came the long long drawn out excitement of getting the movie made: this was the site that always gathered together any exciting news as soon as it came out.

I hope you managed to snag some nice 'store items' from the Official Browncoats Board, because you really earned all those points by just keeping all the fans together and excited for all these years.

Not that your work is done! No, not by any means.
We have our BDM, but when exactly will we get the BDS (Big Damn Sequel)?
And I still hope for the BDS (Big Damn Spin-off):
I'm seeing a show about YoSafBrid...as a thief & swindler...altho I think they might have to implant a heart of gold in there somewhere...

but I digress. I mean to say THANK YOU!
I hope to continue hanging out here for many years, and I'm very grateful for what you've created here.

You know some would say if the movie goes big than you've been successful. I say regardless of that this has been a success. This crazy little board (which I still say is easier to navigate than any other board out there!!!) is a place for us folk sometimes it's a party, sometimes it's a debate, other times it's a refuge from the "real" world. But it's always a family and it's always a home.
