Man, I was SO looking forward to Serenity. I work 7 days a week and have precious little time to go to the movies (haven't seen more than one maybe two so far this year), but I was really looking forward to this.

Then a friend of mine who saw it said he was surprised at how many people died in it and I saw a spoiler in another thread (don't worry, I was looking for spoilers ;) ).

I'll be honest, that would be really upsetting because I love these characters and I don't want to see them killed off, especially if I have hopes of a sequel or another series. Heck, just thinking about it gets me all bummed.

Sigh.

No, definately go and see it....thats all i can say with out giving anyhting away.....just straight up, go and see it. ASAP :) Its totally AWESOME! And once you do see it, post back with your insights.

WELL i suggest u take prode and go. If not, get yer butt out there and buy sum tix! give em away if u arent gunna see it...the crucial time of seeing is over, but ever ticket sale helps.

Buckle up and see it. Then see it again. It really is better the second time. I saw it again today and the tough bits are a little easier to take (except one

) but I was able to see a lot more of the good stuff come through - it's almost like being in a fog the first time - there's SO MUCH to process!

Wash's death. Nor am I a fan of book's death.

but Serenity was still a great movie. Never before have i seen a movie more than once in the theater. I have now seen Serenity 4 times and am going to see it even more next weekend. THis isn't just because we need the BO numbers. It is also an amazing movie and has a wonderful plot. If you don't want to see

wash's death (and this is a spoiler) then just look away after Serenity has "landed" and wash says "i am a leaf on the wind" again. it is a very shocking death. i would recommend, though, that you don't turn away during book's death. There's a reason for that one.

It really is a great movie. You should go see it.
