I noticed that there was a banner up here in the website to purchase firefly from Amazon. I know that some people have encouraged others to purchase it from amazon, but i just wasn't sure if buying it from wal-mart made any differnce. Any difference, example: buying a movie ticket for serenity goes to the credit of serenity and tacks on more money for total gross. I want to support Firefly and not Wal-mart. So if anyone knows what i'm talking about or if you can answer my question, please let me know. I want to get another copy for myself and for my sister for her birthday next month. Thanks alot.

I think buying from Amazon has two benefits. 1) The link provides this great site with some funds when someone buys via the link and 2) pre-orders and top 100 lists are being monitored more and more to identify trends and what people are buying.

So, I would recommend purchasing via the Amazon link on this site.
