Here's the story...
I was driving class, listing to a central Ohio station, Oldies 107.9 and I heard the ad for Firefly. It said the whole thing about "cosmic hooker, girl in a box, and from the creator of Buffy the vampire slayer". Then it said it was on Fox Fridays at 9 o'clock. Please someone tell me this wasn't just a radio glitch.

Much as I would hope, I think you should call the radio station and ask the date of the ad. Then again, I don't live in OH, so maybe.

I looked at my TV listings, and John Doe has that slot for my area.

If you find anything positive, holler!

WASH: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction.
ZOE: We live in a space ship, dear.
WASH: So?

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Could be an old ad spot that got played by mistake or a station that did not get the message to pull the add.

Eep! If that happened here, I would run right off the road! Drive right into or off of the mountain.

I don't have anything new besides that to add-- everybody's right, probably a leftover that didn't get pulled.

Wow. Eep.

Hi Kat, I'm from the Columbus area too! I haven't heard the ad, but I'm gonna be listening for it now!

The other half of the "advertising" portion of Fox's great conspiratorial plan to make sure the shwo had no chance: Not only practically no ads, but those few ads also carefully designed to make sure that nobody who hears/sees them could possibly want to watch the show...

Exactly. Before I stumbled onto Firefly, because of John Doe, I had only heard one advertisement for it, and then after that, the only ad for Firefly I hear is after they canceled it. What luck!

Hey! I started watching Firefly because it came on after John Doe. Then I ended up NOT watching JD, I don't have a lot of time and ended up likeing FF better!

Cheers,
