May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Speaking as a veteran, and a descendant of veterans as far back as I can trace, to all of you veterans, Browncoat & otherwise, thank you. Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and for far too many, the ultimate sacrifice you made for your country & her people.

HAPPY VETERAN'S DAY!

Here, Here I second that sentiment!

A piece of news I found affected me, this is the first time that there will be no WW1 veterans at the memorial service in Ottawa. Couple that with the fact my 6yr old daughter is the only one in her grade 1 class that had a grandparent (that shes met) that served in WW2.

Feels like our heritage is slipping through our fingers. We have to hang on to it tight.

Never forget.

To all those who serve and have served...

Thanks! I hope you had a good Veteran's Day, and got at least one face-to-face thank you. Online is only personal to a point, but there are those of us who appreciate your sacrifices, whether we are able to express it directly or not.

HUA! Semper Fi! Air Power!

Blessings from above, and peace be with you this day and always.

KNIBBLET

My baby sister (Army Ret) phoned me to wish me (USAF 10 yr) Happy VD. Then she phoned my husband (USAF Ret) to wish him Happy VD.

Probably the first time any woman has called her brother-in-law to wish him happy VD.

She's a nut.
