Other than Serenity of course - which everyone must buy - I just wanted to remind you about my book.

It would make a great gift for anyone who's looking for an inexpensive gift for a family member, friend, co-worker or better yet, the avid reader of your family.

What they're saying about the book -
Baryon Speculative Fiction Magazine -
"De la Torre has presented a well-written, fast moving adventure that fits into the Clive Cussler/Dan Brown mode"

IBlist.com -
"De La Torre has a tremendous descriptive style that put me right into the middle of the search for Atlantis."

Harriet Klausner - the #1 Ranked Reviewer on Amazon.com -
"This exciting fantasy thriller grips the audience from the moment Hermes announces to Dan that he is a god. The tale never slows down as other deities “interfere” in the lives of mortals and the rival archeologists compete for the ultimate prize, but major findings along the way encourage Theo’s team though the actions of Graham’s thugs dishearten them. This is a fabulous wild ride that readers in search of something well written, quite interesting, and very different will appreciate this fist book in a great epic saga and look forward to more adventures."

Sffworld.com -
"Ancient Rising holds it’s own as a fast-paced tale that doesn’t take itself or the source too seriously, instead offering a fun ride.

Much of the credit for the story must go to its pacing. The hunt for Atlantis using Hermes’ clues is breathless, moving at a breakneck speed that will have you turning the page quicker and quicker as the end nears."

Hey-this book sounds really interesting.

I love things relating to Ancient History-plus,the whole fantasy genre. Also,Archaeology( I am studying this at University)

I will look out for this book(I am from the UK)-to see if I can buy it in a shop.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! I know there's a few shops in the UK that supposedly are carrying it.

Sounds great. May have to get it for myself!

The description on Amazon makes it sound like it's right up my alley. Beware, because if I DO read it, I WILL nitpick about the mythology details. I'm a major mythology enthusiast, so this looks fantastic!

SERENYTY, feel free to do so. I love feedback good or bad. I did research extensively (especially the "pecking order" of the Gods), so hopefully I got it right.

I know, I know. I'm a detail freak, so I get all weird like that. I do like some things that aren't completely accurate, but mythology is my forte. It's something that I really enjoy.
