After 45 excruciating days, Serenity has come to the dollar theater here in town! I'm only at 5 viewings now, and I'm thinking I'll go for 10.

No need for responses, just wanted to share my excitement!

Are you in a country besides the United States?

The United States is still holding. Serenity just came back to a theater 53.1 miles from me. Leaving now to see a showing.

10th week of Serenity:AR AZ CA CO CT FL GA IA ID IN KY MI MN MT NM NV NY PA TX UT WA

imdb.com has a US map of Serenity showings.

There a six open-captioned Serenitys roaming the United States. They pop up two shows at a theater and move to next theater. The pop up on Sunday-Monday and Tuesday-Wednesday in the US.

Keep an eye on your theaters. I am driving 53.1 miles one way today to see Serenity.

If you are in another country, maybe you could ask for a special showing at a theater at an off time or off day.

Unfortunately I'm in the UK. Don't think it's showing anywhere here, I'd gladly drive 50 miles to see it if I could :(

My mama made it!

our discount theatere here in Minneapolis, Minnesota, The Riverview, just did another 11:00pm showing due to a great showing last weekend. 3/4 of the theater was filled with Browncoats. We were so pretty.

Did you check if the theater is in my post:

If it is not, I'd love to add it to my post. There are theaters that are not on the imdb.com Serenity US map that are showing Serenity.

Well, Illinois just plain sucks. No luck here, I even called in to our cheap theater and they said that there was no chance. Truly a bummer. But I'm glad I at least got to see it twice, and plan on doing some marketing around town and school to push for DVD sales. The last showing I went to I was surprised to see quite a few browncoats chatting after the movie and saying how much of a shame it was the series was cancelled, but super happy that sooo many more people are discovering it through the movie. I know that's what happened to me!

Don't give up hope yet.

Earlier, someone wrote "Stupid PA" and it just came back to PA.

I haven't found the six open-captioned showings of Serenity yet that are roaming the United States and play Sunday-Monday or Tuesday-Wednesday and then move to the next theater.

Do you have any Regal first-run theaters near you? Maybe they could get on the list or whatever it is.

I know how you feel.

My friend, who I converted (go me), and I called the dollar theatre everyday to see if it had gotten there yet. And it is just one long recording.

We went to go see it again (from a lot of times ;) ) and took another friend...never gets old.
