Hullo.

Did everyone get what they wanted?

I got all the plastic rockets and ponies Buddah could carry!

Yay.

And my Aunt and Uncle were exceedingly happy with the FireFly DVDs I gave them, despite not having seen FireFly before, so that'll be more conversions to add to the slowly growing Army of Joss, erm I mean Browncoats, I'm sure Joss isn't trying to overthrow Fox with a mighty independents army or anything.

I shouldn't of said that, I shouldn't of said that...

Orpheus had the link. I could try to e-mail it to you but it's a fairly big file. or I could burn it to a disk and bring it down.

SR, I like the Kung Pao combo too!

I've tried Sushi, the veggies stuff is good, but I don't like cucumber. Like SR said, fresh is the keyword, especially when dealing with fish. If it smells fishy, it's old.

The pickled ginger is nice but use the Wasabi sparingly, I found out the hard way, and I'm a hot sauce fanatic. It literally took my breath away.

I got the BDDVD!! As well as SAAB.

Safe:
SAAB? Space Above and Beyond?

I so want that, but best I can tell theres no UK release :(.

I don't have a multi-region player, well I can watch it on my computer plugged into my TV but I still have to fiddle with the software for it too work...

There's a guy over here that created a DVD set from the original studio copies (i.e. no adverts high quality etc) but they are a might expensive. Been thinking of getting them for some time now...

But I'd prefer a real copy, and he always said if they brought out a real set he'd stop selling...

As for a new topic...
hmm, Gifts? Favorite and first to ebay?

You all have mine, I want payback.

But i'm willing to go with favorite crimble presents.

Actually most mortifyingly embarrising sounds good.

I've got a fantastic one. Involves me, the London Underground and Rush hour.

Maybe we can have two for the next thread?

Yup... although, I would hope they'll release it properly. Mine has glitches in it and absolutely NO extras. Kinda feels like and aftermarket or underground copy.

So, your computer copy is probably pretty close in quality to mine

Most embarrassing moment? There's so many to choose from, depending on interpretation.....
Crimble?

Way back in the underwear discussion? stick on bra pinging off on stage in world famous night club?

but of course you remember that...

Crimble = Christmas, very old word, made up in childhood, no idea why it chose now to pop up, ah well.

And you can have more than one.

Hello, hello, testing 123, can you hear me, can you hear me?

Yay! I now have a fully (partially) functional internet connection at work!

Or Chrimbo, that's another one...

I happen to think women shouldn't be embarressed by Bras pinging off on stage at world famous nightclubs, and that it should be a more common event.

But thats probably why the doctors don't let me out much...

Um, yeah. About the links to those two songs from Serenity, I just went to the big list of General Discussion threads and scrolled down til I found 'em.

As for my most mortifyingly embarrassing moment, y'all want me to impart it now, or wait for the 7th Floor?

We really do need a 7th floor. It's getting crowded here.

Most embarrasing moment, eh? Don't remember many (have probably blocked them from my memory) but I do remember I was rollerskating once and this jerk guy came by too close and hit the side of my wheels with his wheels. Caused my skate to stop spinning and for normally semi-graceful me to plunge facefirst to the floor. I caught myself with my hands and knees, skinning my palms and knees and spraining BOTH my wrists. I rolled over onto my back, but my shirt flew up and I flashed everyone before I could pull it down. The jerk guy rolled by and said "oops, sorry" in a completely unconvincing tone. Jerk. I was mortified, plus in quite a bit of pain.

How's that?

Oooh-Christmas! I got the digital camera I had begged and begged for (so apparently I haven't been quite that wicked!) plus I got my BDDVD, so happy am I.

Now I can start focusing on New Years.

On the new years thing, My manager is being a pain and it looks like I may have to choose between new years and having a job. or at least getting the dreaded "points" for not showing up. It's way past time for me to fly anyway, why do I put these things off until they become too much stress? Can you post the info again? I'll need to mapquest if I've any hope of going.

You are quitting your job because they won't let you come to my party? (she says in a "You threw a riot? On account of me?" voice) I'm honored, I think.

Let me find the dead thread and I'll link it for you.

Also, I can give you directions to the hotel. It's UBER easy, surprisingly.

I was going to post them anyway.

Well, I've been wanting to leave there for some time. They just keep encouraging me. At worst I call in sick and they give me points which prevent me from getting a promotion for an equal number of months. Let's see it's been almost 3 years without one anyway. *calculates potential loss...."let's see nothing from nothing.....carry the nothing." Funny how often Jayne quotes are appropriate.
