Just curious but why do we need to repeat #19?

That is important! And somehow I'm thinking of Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

Hey grayfury,

Great post and lots of good info on the list.

I'm with you on the order of The Message and OIS. As I watched each ep, in the order it was intended, I got the feeling that our friends at Fox just wanted to monkey with it because they could.

But both artistically and continuity wise it makes more sense that OIS is last ep leading up to the BDM. I mentioned on another thread that by this time River seemed to have more control of herself. That her mind was winning out in the battle to free herself of the brainwashing by the Alliance.

And it is completed in the BDM when, after she threw up (on Miranda) and Simon asked if she was ok. She turned to him and said she was fine. At that point you could tell she was in control and fully realizing her combat, and other, training.

Shiny! Let's be bad guys!

Thank you for posting this order. I plan on broadening my Firefly/Serenity experience as much as possible, and this overwhelming, but exciting roadmap is the best way to achieve it.

The Joss Whedon script for Serenity, where Wash lives, is Serenity-190pages.pdf at www.mediafire.com/folder/1uwh75oa407q8/Firefly

Two comics have been mentioned - "Serenity: Those Left Behind" and "Serenity: Better Days”.

There is a third comic called
"Serenity: The Other Half", an 8 page, web-based comic, executive produced by Joss Whedon, at Dark Horse Comics:

Your mention of QMX does not include the new Map fo the Verse, which would be a very shiny addition.
The new blu-ray discs, might be more material on them. FF supposed to be out already, BDM comming.

Not canon, but might mention seeing things in the original sequence after seeing the marketed version - Pilot original scene 1 and deleted scene with Zoe/Simon, then OiS, HoG, Message (last).

TWO

The Joss Whedon script for Serenity, where Wash lives, is Serenity-190pages.pdf at www.mediafire.com/folder/1uwh75oa407q8/Firefly

Want more Serenity? There is a 190 page script by Joss Whedon for a 3 hour long Serenity movie:
http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/8/13/2048723/Serenity-190pages.pdf
ALSO... Serenity-190pages.pdf can be found at www.mediafire.com/two

For a review of this script, see the article titled "The Earlier, Longer Script For Serenity" located here:
http://www.serenitystuff.com/2006/07/01/the-earlier-longer-script-for-
serenity
/

A 190 page script roughly equals a 190 minute movie. This fat Serenity script needed liposuction to shrink it to 120 minutes, which is all the budget given to Joss Whedon by Universal Studios. Samples of dialog sucked out of the final movie:

Page 79 & 80:
BOOK - I don't know how much my vote counts, but I'm not interested in abandoning this girl.
JAYNE - That's 'cause you didn't get your goolies near tore off by her! For all I know, I been rendered incompetent!
ZOE - That's impotent.
WASH - Either's good for me...

Page 156:
Zoe looks at her screen, at the following ships.
WASH - They're never giving up, are they?
ZOE - That's the idea...
WASH - Honey, when Mal was your Sergeant in the war, did any... other members of you platoon, say... live?
ZOE - The answer will only make you unhappy.

A couple links are dead, such as the Extended Firefly gag reel and the River Tam Sessions one. There may be no way around this, but I thought I'd post a note anyway.

There are a number of dead links of this type. Many of the goodies which were previously available on line did get included
in the Collector's Edition of Serenity, and therefore are now copyrighted material for Universal, and cannot be freely
available online. The River Tam Sessions were included in this. Not sure about the "extended gag reel" tho.

There are some threads around which comoplain about the legal threats about material on the web, many of these were from the time
period when CE was getting prepped for release. I have no grudge because I would like all shiny material to be available on disc for
all to see. At the time of complaints, nobody knew they would become part of the CE canon.

Have you started working on Done The Impossible?
