THESOAPBOXER

While watching my beautifully brand new DVD of Serenity, I noticed something.

In the opening scene with the Operative and Dr. Mathias in the records room, the Operative asks the good doctor if he knew "what his sin is." Mathias, a little spooked, replies, "I wonder if you..." and is cut off by the Operative.

HOWEVER, I remember pretty distinctly seeing the scene in the theater, and Mathias said (to the effect of), "I warn you against..."

I checked my handy-dandy visual companion and the script has the doctor's line as: "I... I would be very careful about what you--"

Why the changes over what seems to me a rather insignificant line? And more importantly, why do I remember all these insignificant lines but forget everything I learn in my Survey of Art class?

Holidays Happy!

PSYCHICRIVER

Hmm...I could have sworn I always heard the line as "I would put that away right now If I were y-"
"Would you be killed in your sleep like an ailing pet?"
On both the cinema and DVD version.

:S But I could be very wrong.

PsychicRiver

"Two by two, hands of blue."
"We'll take care of each other. I'll knit!"
"I swallowed a bug."

In the theatre release, it does go:

The Op: Do you know what your sin is, Doctor?"

Mathias: I wonder if you would . . .
(gets cut off)

The Op: It's pride.

Yarn, yarn, yarn.

My posse' and I had the initial opening scenes memorized to a cue.
