Hi everybody! I cannot believe that I hadn't watched any Firefly! I finally rented the movie and BAM! I am hooked. Went out and bought it, and now are waiting for the funds to get the series. I should have known it would be good with Joss Whedon at the helm. I have always been a BIG Buffy and Angel fan, so....it was an easy transition! I love this team of misfits on this ship! Why, oh why, did they cancel the show???? Are they crazy??? Is there another movie coming up? Are people stupid at FOX?? Please explain, cause it is the best stories I have seen! It's great that people are still discovering Firefly and Serenity. It's like fresh air through the lungs of the show!

In answer to your queries:

- They cancelled the show because it aired in a time before the likes of Lost, where slow-burning series were not given the time to develop. And yes, they are crazy. And stupid.

- Another movie? Well, we needed more people to see the first one to guarantee a second! It's still possible, though. Anything is possible.

Welcome, and yes. People at FOX are very^9 stupid. Just make sure that you share Firefly with your friends, make browncoats out of them too. If you don’t work tomorrow, Sci-Fi is having a Firefly marathon. I already posted about that though.
