I want a name that is deceptive. Could be pretty, could be cruel. If you start out with an evil name, then you have a reputation to live up to. I'd rather start with something that coud be nice, and turn it INTO something evil.

I won't take orders from any pirate who claims to have a pristine reputation. It's common knowledge that the two are incompadible and mutually exclusive, one must go.

There's talk that one of the captains is wearing thigh high boots. Is she wearing anything else? That's one way to inspire a crew!

Look alive! Prime the guns! Secure the rum from spoilage! Sharpen your swords!

Leave the booty alone, as quartermaster it's my job to appraise it and see that it's distributed fairly. Anyone stealing from the plunder will be taken to the mast and be given Moses Law, forty lashes less one!

Motion is raised to go ashore on a smaller island for food and fresh water.

The Turkish Delight!

Be a fine name. No I have no idea what it refers to in Narnia, I didn't watch it after I found out the cool wolfer wasn't going to win.

Black Jack Rackham be ready to sail on the Delight. Black Jack Rackham polishes the mighty cannon of Delight. Black Jack Rackham Reinforces her bow so as we can ram Delight into other ships.

Too much? This could go on for hours, as Delight should.

aw thank ye' fer yer kind words.

Spent the entire night up and down trying to get to sleep in between raiding handbags for painkillers - aye, no such thing as a bathroom cabinet for me! I prefer to make things fun for myself by hiding them in spare handbags and for some reson, jewellry boxes.
My grasp of 'organisation' boggles the mind.

Random dreams as well, dreamt that a giant spider and her brood invaded my college and turned people into venom spitting zombies.
Oh, and that I was gay, and got a job in a dress shop.

So all in all, feeling better, but still not quite right. *sniff*

I have a job interview tomorrow, If I can get through it with out doing something heiniously embarrasing, shall we have a celebratory raid on, say, the Random threads?, methinks they would appreciate the highjinks.
I was also thinkin we should maybe enter the caption competitions as pirates, waddaya say?

Insomnia's , used to get it a lot in college and when I was a kid - my mom used to wake up and find i'd re-arranged my furniture or cut my hair into a bob or something.I constantly surprise myself at how much I don't get it now actually.

My sympathy's, and buscuits, if ya want em.

yeah, feeling a bit better, listening to maximo park, they're making me feel more energetic than I actually am.

Mentioning tightpants...

how about The Drobies Revenge?

(Drobie - from 'wardrobe' - being the costume peoples nickname (in college) and Revenge being the pants being tight enough to split. On set. A lot.)(Come on, they have to be doing something... pants just don't split that often)(specially not flat fells) (unless he does a lot of lunges) (does Nathan 'lunge' a lot?)(even then it'd take A LOT of lunging.)

Hmmm, anyhoo.

For your consideration, The Drobies Revenge

The Dread squirrel is out by the way, there's a film somewhere that uses squirrel as an allusion to, well... haha, yeah... well, you know.

(I can't think of any reason why the costume dept on Firefly would want to get revenge on Nathan though.
Ok, maybe its just 'cause they want to see more of his ass, or maybe for the chance to say suggestive things like "ok, got to my trailer and take yer' pants off" in an innocent, or even put upon tone of voice, I could see how that would be quietly amusing.
But I'm gonna have to stick with revenge simply 'cause 'motivation', or even 'naughty quick-unpick' don't have quite the same rhythm.)

oh I need help, and not just with chusing ship names...

The Dread squirrel is out?..............Awww, Nuts!
Thanks for bringing up the Firefly costume dept. Now I have a story Jewel told us about "Jumpsuit #3" stuck in me head.
The Drobies Revenge be a fine name. PAnts can split for a variety of reasons, not just lunges. I've had my share of splits an I'm not much the lunge-ing type.
Best_o-luck on the interview.
Invade the Random threads? that would be random.
*has never read random or tree threads (well I tried a tree thread a long time ago, but felt strange at the time)*

Where be this fabl'd tree thread?

I figured it might be in the interest of Random/Nook good relations, y'know, we amusingly rob them, they think of something funny to do to us, eventually after several highly rib ticklin' slapstick wars, we join forces and try to take over the world!

*cough*

scuse' me, had a Pinky and the Brain moment. It happens

Ha! browncoats radio is playing a chinese style version of Swan Lake! I loooovve that station.

I need to go to the ballet and opera more, I miss it...

CALLMESERENITY

Drobies Revenge sounds good to mine ears! It gets me vote!

I'm too busy today to raid threads, though it would be fun to raid Random, they'd enjoy it.

We've currently got pirates on the TREE thread, so we could fit ourselves in there, but I'm already on that thread, too, so that'd be confusing for me. Unless.....
