I was Googling around looking for some information on Book's past and found this posted on another board. The post date was Oct 11 2005. I'm sure it's not true or else we'd all already know about it but I thought you guys might like to read it.

"Wow, I'm totally baffled that with the geekiness of furries in general that word hasn't drifted to you that this film was co-produced by top members of the Sci-Fi Network and the series rights were purchased by them and they're bringing it back starting next season potentially. Hence the reason the pilot and preacher were killed off (they refused to sign for the new series on Sci-Fi). Joss' personal site and blogs confirm this and he's really excited about what's to come with the new series on Sci-Fi.

With that said, the movie was INCREDIBLE, far better than I ever would have expected. For Joss this was a massive victory and a triumphant return to weekly programming after losing Firefly after one season and Buffy and Angel after years of great work with them. He's really an amazing writer and I've loved everything he's put up on the screen, even when it's been cheesy/campy. Firefly was a great idea (spaghetti space western) that no one else has ever pulled off as nicely and believably as Joss IMHO (Cowboy Bebop? Whatever, sucks if you ask me)."

"Joss' personal site and blogs confirm this"

Come on, no one is actually going to belief this without any concrete source. Sounds totally unreal to me anyway. It has a strong trollish ring to it (not your post, the thing you quoted).

It's interesting that the thread posted right below this one is titled "Joss Rules Out Firefly Revival"
Whatever. I'll belive it when I hear it from Joss.

Wacky fun!

I don't know what Joss's Official Site is. I have to be getting back to work here, maybe someon else can take a crack at it.

Fake Edit: These Sci-Fi higher-ups would be NBC/Universal higher-ups, perhaps he got the wrong idea since they have the movie rights?

I was googling through the internet looking for something about Elvis Presley's past and found the following posted on a fan board:

"I wonder why the other fans haven't noticed it yet but Elvis signed a contract for 10 concerts in May 2006. This is why they said he was dead, because they are going to surprise the fans. There are blog entries on the site of Virgin Records and some other sites that clearly confirm this."

You get my point
