Hey all, i know i may be considered a late comer to this community, but i have been a firefly fan since the first airing, got them all on tape, on computer, and sat and watched every new episode when it aired. I'm reaching out to you all now cause i cant give up hope, In my opinion Fox has an excellent nack for axing or giving trouble to fans of many good shows they have carried, i was a futurama fan, a dark angel fan(although it was getting wierd at the end), Titus....remember that show, it was a freakin riot. Anyway if someone could sorta bring me up to speed on what the latest news is. I know actors have been moving on, but im hoping they come back or something. Fox mistreated the show, and never gave it a chance, but im hopeful that somewhere out there some studio exec is gonna wake up and say "Damn, Firefly was a good show, lets bring it back" Anyway, im feeling down, i need my firefly, someone bring me some hope here...

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Greetings Feenix! Welcome to the community.

Firefly is off the air (thanks FOX), but Joss and the crew at ME have not given up. According to what Nathan wrote at the official site, and Gina has said in online interviews, Joss is hard at work on something, but they will not tell us anymore than that. We have faith Joss will turn out something, the question is what form will it take.

This show is waaay to good to let die. Im glad im not the only person ticked off at the inexcusable action of fox.

Not airing the pilot first, although i think "out of gas" (one of my favorite episodes) did an excellent job of trying to tie it all together. I wish joss could clue us in, im dieing to know what he has up his sleeve, and with this being the last season of buffy, i think this can only be good for firefly because he will have more time to pour into firefly, dare i hope that upn starts missing quality joss programming and picks up firefly

Remember Feenix, that Joss does not give up. He loves this show more than we do as soed the cast and crew. Joss will tell the story of Firefly, one way or another. There are many of us Browncoats keeping the hope alive.

As LostAngel said there are gathering of Firefly fans called Shindigs going on across the country. You are not alone. Adam Baldwin posts on the Fox Board very often and Nathan Fillion posted a thread titled Captain on Deck. They all say Joss is working on something. Joss will let us know once there is something to tell.

In the meantime keep flying.

99% of the time i am incredibly laid back, but if you get me worked up on something i go all out. beleive me i have to work hard to take all the expletives out when i talk about how fox mistreated this show, damnit give me firefly!
