The official website of Summer's new movie "Mammoth" is finally online and can be found here: http://www.scifi.com/mammoth/

Right now there's just one page with an image but we can hope to see more soon.

Damn that's true... It was a real hell to make screencaps.

There's no downloadable trailer, but I have been in contact with Plyminor (the producing company) for having some promotional material. I had a positive answer but haven't reveived any material yet. I'll let you know as soon as I get something...

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Ok, I admit I like to watch Sci Fi's cheesy monster movies which they air every Saturday night. We normally have a group of friends over & we do our own version of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 while watch & eat popcorn. This movie looks like it will fall into that catagory.

I think Summer is great, and I have nothing but respect for her talent, so I won't let this one be on our list for MST3K viewings. I will watch it w/ the family to support Summer, but boy do I hope she gets some better parts in the future.

I'm surprised. The trailer looks better than I thought it would be.

I'm going to check it out. And yes, let's hope this helps her get better roles in the future. There's no mistaking her talent.

No you're not alone Causal, I'm right there with you trust me... Thing is I have a love for monster flicks old or new. They're kinda just fun. Heck I even liked (strong word) Anaconda. If it's half as good as that I'm getting a bunch of friends to go with me!

Ha ha. I do that, too.

But I'm not sure I'll refrain from doing it with Mammoth just because Summer's in it. If it's meant to be cheesy, why is it a sin to laugh at it? It's supposed to be entertaining. And it's not like I'd ever poke fun at Summer's acting. She's a superb actor. The only time I go after an actor MST3K style is when they're doing an obviously poor job.

She's on the billing over top of Tom Skerrit. That's pretty plush for someone new to the business.

haha - Nathan does Slither and now Summer is in this one, Alan Tudyk for a remake of Albino Aligator and Gina to carve up the creature from the black lagoon!

although Slither looks more like that Evolution movie than a proper creature feature.

I really like the tiny little picture of her running in terror at the bottom of the offical page with a very grainy "Oh god, oh god we're all going to die!" look on her face.

I am just terrified, mammoths are after us. Eegads!

Same here, I watch them, I laugh at them. (I mourn MST3K as well, but that's sort of to the left of the point.)

The thing is that it seems like once an actor starts on those films they can never get out, and Summer deserves better. It's probably fun to be in what I lovingly refer to as, "crap sci-fi," but when you see a good actor stuck in that genre it's sad, and it would be tragic if that happened to Summer.

Ok so I'm just grabbing two words out of context and responding to them, but I was wondering if people knew that albino aligators actually exist.

I didn't think there really were any until I saw one at the Houston Zoo, the thing looked like it had been carved out of marble, very impressive animal.

I guess there are only 15 or so in existance.

That had no point, but I figured I'd share.
