We all love FireFly and the movie
Will it go the way of a good things or will it last like the Star Trek TOS phenomena?

I once had a summer love. She was like Christmas morning. Alas, she went home and I never saw her again. We wrote to each other and the replies dwindled and faded away.

Is FireFly just like that? A lost summer love?

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

Can´t answer this now... maybe in a few years.

I was a real big StarWars-Fan. I mean, really big. I´ve had posters of it all around me, Books, Comics, even matchbox-modells. I watched the Movies whenever they were shown on TV, and i hated Freddy mercury (from `Queen´) for his Lyric of "bicycle Race" ("... and i don´t like Star Wars!")though i loved the Band.

But if i look at myself from a distance now, it feels like i was a infatuated little Child. Firefly is more than a Series for me, it has become a part of my everydays life. I really cannot say, if this feeling will ever disappear, and i don´t think that i want it to.

*sigh* You did it. Now i´m sad. ;)

If there is enough money to be made, the executives will come around.

That is, if they stop trying to put together shows about young women living in the city who work for a magazine. If I see another one of those, it will be time to favour Wrath again.

The fanbase will keep growing, and I'm confident we will see it again, even though it may take some time.

Don't lose faith. It's just too damn pretty for God to let it die, y'know?

Time will tell. Be patient. It may take years.

Firefly is not a summer love for me, I will be in love forever.

I've been at this for a time now, and there have been days when I went to bed and thought tomorrow I'll wake up and I won't think of the 'verse right away and I'll get on with my life and it'll pass. But I'd wake up the next day and my first thought is Firefly. I've never had this experience before.

I will wait right here with my friends, holding the line until I can see my crew flying again. There will be more. People fall in love with this show and then they tell others and they fall in love too. It will spread and we will see Serenity flying again.

I believe in the next year or two with everyones continued support in the letter campaign as well as everyone purchasing firefly DVD's and Serenity we can expect great things!

Too bad this 'summer romance' occured in the fall/wintertime competing with the bloody world series for its own life. If F*X had aired the pilot and started the series during a decent primetime timeslot on a good night (Not Friday, Not Saturday, not Sunday but how about Thurday since Thursday everybody knows was a dead day where primetime people were most likely at home watching TV instead of out cruising the town because they have to go to work/school on Friday) in the proper order then maybe those inbred morons at F*X would have had their arbitrary 'ratings' and we'd still be flying. They might even have had better results airing it in an off-season like maybe the summer months with better results because nothing was on to compete with it. Some basic advertising and support might have been nice, too. Yet alas, F*X's pockets and petty greed were only equalled by the smallness of their thimble-sized brains, gross incompetance, and utter lack of vision.

I totally agree with that statement 100%, it is all FOX's fault when the aired Firefly. But, I am not giving up hope it may return as a series or even a min-series somewhere else.
