Think the other post was getting wayyyy long...so again..

Production Manager/Producer for TV/Special Events/Concerts in NY

Thinking I should move to LA...get a job at Fox (after I have sold my soul of course), work my way up to the executive offices (should only take 10 years or so...maybe not if I play it real stupid) just so I can find and fire the idiots that cancelled this show!! Or at least their children who will of course have been given a cushy job as the "Vice President Of The Im An Idiot That Doesnt Know Good TV Department"

LOLA

I like the idea of having a "plant" at Fox..good scheme.
So, I currently work teaching anger management, conflict resolution, dance, music, art and French.
and my actual title these days is "Mom".

Once upon a time I was a patient advocate for a large downtown hospital.
I went to college for drama, then Nursing, then social work.
The moral of this story is don't even let your children go to an arts high school..although it turns out right in the end..the years in between are a bit...chaotic.

I'm facinated with the broad fan base (ie: different regions, walks of life, jobs etc) that this show has touched.
I'm thinking there had to be subliminal messages in all the shows...something like
"you love Firefly" "Fox is a bunch of wankers" etc..something along those lines.
'course it's just a theory....

Lola

" ya ever sailed on a Firefly?"

I do web development for a small computer company. Nothing too exciting but it pays the bills and is pretty fun most of the time.

I'm a government advisor on large scale federal acquisitions. Love the fancy titles; wish I had a salary as big as my title!

I go to High School *Gasp*. I really enjoy History and Literature. I'm not quite sure what either of those two subjects will get me in life though. Could be a Tom Clancy. Just kidding.

America loves a winner!

Pool guy. Did it during, after college to earn some extra $$. Tried various other 'real' jobs, but none of them took. After a few years, I decided I liked doing it and went back.

DRPAIN

I smuggle small animals to sell on the black market and I juggle geese on the side.

Ok I don't do that stuff....yet , but I do work theft prevention (which is a fancy way of saying I sit on my gorram pigu all day watching surveillance cameras to see if there's shoplifting going on) at a major department store. I know it's not exicting but it gets the bills paid.

I go to college (for what seems like forever now!)and work 2 part time jobs, one for a children's science center and one for a sports arena, both in Columbus, Ohio. Hopefully when I graduate I will get a full time job at the science center I work at. Still feel like I am waiting for my career to begin, and I am pushing 30!

Actually did some work after Hurricane Katrina, running netcontrol on nightshift, dodgeing media hounds, eating MREs becaus the Red Cross closed there gorram kitchen an hour before i woke up everyday. Kinda intresting actually, just with crappy hours, crappy pay, and alot of legal issues about talking about what i do for a living.

Hey! Tübingen is my second choice for study abroad next year.

I'm a German / Classics double major. I'm never going to make any money. *sigh*

I'm doing both German and Classics as minors in my Arts/Law course. I'm also doing philosophy. First year this year.

In theory, I would be making money, but i'm not actually interested in "money law" as I like to call it. I want to work abroad, humanitarian aid, stuff like that.

Studying at the University of Western Australia.

I work at a mid sized hospital in Texas, as well as go to college( This is my 7th year!). I just couldn't figure out what I wanted to major in so I have 200+ hours and am finally graduating!! I will have a health information technology degree. I know it sounds sucky, but it is kinda interesting. And besides I spent all that gorram money, I gotta do something with my life, right?!
