Titan Books has announced that it has obtained the world rights for a companion book to Joss Whedon's Firefly TV series. Firefly: The Official Companion will be released this summer. There is a large and committed audience for this short-lived series; the Firefly series DVD has sold over 500,000 copies.

Titan has sold over 200,000 copies of Whedon-related titles, including the recently released Serenity Companion (see "Titan Finds 'Serenity'") to date.
