Hello all. We just finished our first major adventure (me GMing a four person group) and I was wondering if there was anyone else out there GMing or playing?

Anyone care to share any experiences? Good? Bad?

Oh, and on Friday I'm starting properly running my first game in, oh, six years or so, and it's a Serenity game. The crew of the Valcyr are an odd bunch, for sure.

I haven't begun yet. After me and my friends complete our current DnD campaign, we're likely moving onto a Serenity RPG.

As the most obsessive browncoat, I'll be GMing the whole thing. Which means while I'm not playing, I am studying the rules and jotting down campaign + episode ideas (all to be fleshed out later). Oh, and figuring out what I want in a character sheet... I haven't found any that're 100% what I want just yet. 90%, maybe, but not 100. KF

Ooh, that is quite shiny! Shi shi ni for the link. I'll probably still be making my own (particularly for some more personal touches), but I like a lot of aspects of the layout of this one... Particularly the derived attributes section. KF

I'm running a group of 8 other people once a week, and so far it's been a blast. The rules can be a little wonky at times, and the book doesn't do the best job of explaining everything, but once the momentum gets going, it can be magical.

yep I was running it, now someone else took over and I get to play :)

I'd love to share the story of the end of the campaign we just finished...

Basically my crew destroyed the alliance lol. The alliance had gained alot of power through very advanced weapons and a new super soldier formula, so they were using this power to tighten their grip.

My crew didn't take too kindly to that and they organized an attack on the parliament building and this basically spread through the verse and became another war, except this time, the browncoats won. I was pretty generous in letting them win, but it was fun, and now when we restart this game, they're gonna have to be the government. I'm gonna have them write up laws and make decisions that effect the whole verse, so it should be pretty interesting.

But in the meantime we're starting a new game, and I'm really excited about my new character. He actually escaped from Miranda, for some unknown reason the pax gas didn't kill him or turn him into a reaver, what it did was turn him into a reader. and so that should be a fun character to play, I'm excited. I love this game.

Nope sorry. all I have been doing is a thread based RPG at bigdamnverse.net and that has been intense enough for me (I play both Book and an oc pilot who, among other things, seems to have multiple personality disorder).
