As sort of apeaceful protest thing. What would happen if all of us Browncoats stopped watching for at least a month?

Or does it matter what you do if you don't have one of those stupid Neilsen ratings thingies on your TV? (Never seen one in this entire state. So I wonder who has them.)

I can go months without watching ANY TV, have done it before. :)

Not watching Fox is the main reason I had never heard of Firefly until it reached the Sci-Fi channel. I quit watching Fox on a regular basis when the X-Files went off the air. How long ago was that? (I can't remember).

I'm just wondering, how long has Sci-Fi channel been running the Firefly series? I only caught it a couple of weeks ago. I watched a couple of episodes and I became an adoring fan that day.

Anyway, I don't watch the Fox network, is what I'm trying to say. So, you can count me in.

Unfortunately, not a damn thing!

They don't care if they lose us, they have everyone watching American Idol and Skating with the Stars! If it would honestly help, we would all do it, but like Mal said, they won because they have more numbers!

Just hang in there, eventually our path will reveal itself!

LOL! I've thought of that before, myself. :P Fox is a pretty monolithic corporation, though, so I wonder how much notice they'd take. And yeah, it'd be more effective if we were to focus on those with the boxes...

Also, I never brought it up online, mostly 'cause I was a little worried about Fox execs taking it the wrong way.

I know how you feel, though... Fox has a history of prematurely cancelling good shows. At least with Family Guy they've maybe been able to eat their hats a bit. :P

Somewhere on here there was a notice that SciFi is running Firefly again in March, so make sure you catch it then!

Are any of them Browncoats? Or do we have a clue who they are?

I really don't give a rat's a** how they take it. I live in a country that has the right of free speech and I intend to use it as much as possible to let those who perpetrated this infamy (woooh, yeah, a Browncoat with book learnin', whoda thunkit) know JUST what I think of them. What are they gonna do about it? They already canceled my favorite show!!!

Not to mention they canceled Killer Instinct just as it was getting addictive. And moved Bones to Weds night without telling anyone so I missed it last week. What a bunch of incompetent, clueless....(insert choice of adjective here)

Well I am afraid they won't care. The Angel fans stopped watching The WB when they learned that the show was being cancelled. They just watched Angel and the ratings grew, in fact Angel was the only show that increased its ratings that year, it even had better ratings then The WBs #1 show...

But it didn't help...

The worlds unfair.

I wasn't aware that any Browncoats DID watch Fox. Anyway, because of our numbers and the way TV operates, it would do absolutely nothing.

No, I am not insane, I am crazy. Thank you for asking.
