This is an interesting quote taken out of context. Would someone please fill me in on the backstory?

Thanks

Where'd ya pick that line up? It does have a familiar feel to it, though I haven't a clue as to where.

" They don't like it when you shoot at 'em. I worked that out myself. "

It shows up pretty regularly in the blue quote area at the top of the FFF.net pages =) I'm sure it's from somewhere else as well, but that's the only place I've gotten familiar with it =p

Sounds like it could be from an interview or something.

It's also the quote responsible for why I keep visualizing Tim as Jayne to Joss' Mal.

Glad you posted this, as I've been wondering the same thing. Don't see an answer yet, but maybe one of the old-timers has a clue?

MAL: We're still flying.
SIMON: That's not much.
MAL: It's enough.

THESOAPBOXER

Well, it's fairly common knowledge that Tim Minear is a compulsive serial killer.

Well, see, Tim wrote a few episodes of Angel, and had a habit of killing off characters.
It's why we love him.

The loneliness calls him, And the edge which must be sharpened,
He's losing it. And he knows.
But there's a fighter in his mind and his body's tough
The years have been unkind, but kind enough." -Ocean Cloud (Marbles) -Marillion
