Craziness, thats all I can say. I don't think a show that was cancelled should be able to give others dreams. Last night, after the first Mardi Gras parade of the season, I go home. And do I dream. The funny thing is, is that it felt so real. I was at dinner with my sister and my mother at a neighborhood eatery and lowandbehold, I see Nathan Fillion and the entire cast of FF sitting down with (Don't know how I knew this) Universal execs. I was in the distance so I couldn't hear but didn't want to ask for his autograph. They all get up and I see Nathan and the gang leaving. I raise my hand and Nathan turns and waves back as they leave.

Weird eh?

Dreams of faith and hope are never weird...especially here.

We will hold...we hold till Mal gets back.

Let's hope it's a good omen.

The most interesting dream I had (I'm not kidding)involved Stephen Colbert pushing Robocop on a swingset. Then stripper cages lowered from out of nowhere with (fully clothed) Hillary Clinton clones doing the Charleston, and Canadian currency started falling from the skies. please tell me this is normal and I'm not crazy.

"The people who made the show, and the people who saw the show, which is roughly the same number of people, fell in love with it, a little bit too much to let it go, too much to lay down arms when when the battle looked pretty much lost. In Hollywood, people like that are called unrealistic, quixotic, obsessive... In my world, they're called Browncoats."

What did it look like they were discussing? It may have been just a dream, but any details you can provide about the sequel would help.

Heh, I dunno about normal, but I'm pretty sure it's crazy. Fascinating!

Just last week I dreamed that I was paintballing against the crew -- the characters, not the actors -- and Jayne pulled an Animal Mother by rushing the building I was sniping them from while Mal and Zoe covered. Then Mal ran in while Zoe covered. Jayne climbed the wall up to the window and startled the hell out of me. I shot him in the chest and he started to fall -- or so I thought -- so I dropped my gun to catch him.

The big jerk laughed, pulled me half out the window and held me immobile, and laughed harder as Mal peppered me in the back, having run up the back steps and snuck in behind me.

Those paintballs HURT, gorrammit!

Fun dream, though.

A little more of a description then. They were sitting in what looked like a 14 top (Very long for 9 plus others). Nathan was about two from the top. I wish I could have heard more. Oh...yeah Nathan was dressed in his coat as well.

This as evidence, I am sure that we all have had FF on the mind for a long time. Maybe this dream was foreshadowing what is to come? Lots of noise has been made recently as I can tell. Perhaps one of the reasons is that because of the darlings of southern hearts, Katrina and Rita, there hasnt been a lot of exposure down here. That is what I am getting from most.
BTW...this was the second dream, had one the night before.

Ohhh, yes, definitely have the dreams here! I dream pretty vividly anyway. Once I woke up and told my husband I had a whole new episode, I remember it was incredible while I was "in" it, but then it logically started falling apart when I was telling him. Ah, well...

I get picked on a lot, and I once had a dream that Jayne followed me to school and meanaced anyone who tormented me. He even broke the arm of this one guy who threw rocks at me in real life once.

Interesting thing about that being, that said guy turned up at school with his arm in a sling a few days later.

Is this a "Bodyguard" reference - early Adam Baldwin film?

I watched the pilot episode so much over christmas break that i had a dream I was actually at the battle for Serenity Valley. Just before the Alliance started attacking I was walking over a low ridgeline with Mal and Zoe. We were talking about troop movements, tactics - that sort of thing. It was early in the morning, and still dark.

Also, I'm in this Shakespeare class right now for school. I've already started dreaming in Early Modern English. This morning i dreamt I was in a car with a kid i used to know from high school. We were driving along when all of a sudden he says, "by my troth, i've never met with such traffic on a sunday."

you know, I resisted this thread for a while thinking it was going to get quite, um, rude, but nope, crazy and wacky funny.

Yey!

*imagines Hiiary Clinton doing the charleston in a cage*

Brilliant.

The craziest thing is that I haven't. I dream in full-on widescreen holly wood epics, full colour and casts of thouands - adventures in egyptian pyramids with disapppearing floors, gangland vampire wars, dystopian citys with lost angels (funnily enough David Boraneaz was the star of that one) even giant spiders turning everyone into venom spitting zombies. Yet I have never dreamt about Firefly. I even have two permanent stars, one blond guy and one dark haired guy (I'm sure freud could tell me something about why that is but I don't really care)and Nathan and Adam say, have never taken the roles on.

I guess its just 'cause Firefly is so damn perfect it don't need improving on.

on a side note, does anyone ever 'feel' things in their dreams, In the past i've woken up with side effects, one of them I got bit on the foot by a vampire and could feel it for the rest of the day, another I got hit with the spider venom and got a rash in the exact spot. I know what causes it, I was just wondering if other got the same thing?

Sorry to highjack the thread

About two days ago, I had a dream about how Jewel Staite had been added to the Flanvention II guest list.

When I woke up, I hurriedly checked the website, and then I felt a little sad inside.

Yes! Yes, I do! It's not terribly often, but the effects are...memorable, to say the least.

Once, I dreamed a big spider thing bit off the first two fingers on my right hand. I woke up clutching my wrist and trying not to scream, feeling blood pouring down my wrist and that deep, buzzing bone ache that I assume comes from missing digits.

It took a long time of staring into the dark and trying to convince myself that it was just a dream just to get me to turn on the light and see for sure. That sucker hurt for HOURS.

Marmoset54,

Have you ever had a dream sorta come true?

Seriously...have you had something you dreamt, then dismissed in day to day life actually happen?

Cuz if so, I'm holding out hope about your dream.

I know, I know, I sound crazy. Well, I am a little..... but...not too much.

I always have faith in the FF resurrection, I guess we all do and that is what makes us who we are, Browncoats. Who would have thought that a boring day at Muvico would turn into such an obsession? Not me, It was only a whim that I went to the theater. This is amazing really, if my dream or any of ours in any way show what is happening behind closed doors. The noise we are making is too loud for their ears, they can hear us on the umpteenth floor. We will continue, we will strive and as the phrase goes, "We Hold. We Hold Until Mal Comes Back."

Ooooh...the first dream, Book gave me something, something shiny and blue. I dunno, glad to hear I am not the only one with these dreams.
