Capt. Shiny, those are great. That is what sucks about ytmnd, it searches by keywords like that. by simply searching Serenity or Firefly, I would have never seen those. I loved them, especially the Mal/JFK one and the "I Can't Know That" one. I'm assuming you are familiar with the countless TYMND fads. I thought the Mal, "TRAP!!!" one would go great if you combined it with the Star Wars Admiral Ackbar fad like in the link below. Those two could be blended so well.

Ytmnd's you mean? just go to ytmnd.com and sign up. to make a site, you just need to upload an image and sound.
To make an animated gif, you'll need a gif making software. Google it and you'll find free trials a-plenty.
To make gifs from dvds, i use a media converter (hooked up to my dvd player) to capture the clip to my computer with a movie editing software, then put the clip on the timeline, zoom in, and place the cursor on each 1/30th or 1/15th (depending on how patient i'm feeling)of a second, then click the "save this snapshot" button. I then upload the images to a gif making program, and set the rate.

That particular gif had the conan edited in. I don't know how the maker did it, but he may have photoshopped conan into each frame that showed the tv. If I confused you or revealed how little a life I have, my mission is complete.

Aw, shucks, Ma'am. 'Tweren't nothin. BTW, the program i've been using is called Screenblast, from sony, and the converter is called ConvertX Digital Video Converter from Plextor. in the video editing program's capture window, just select the converter in one of the drop-down menus.
