Probably already mentioned but I wasn't sure. In the seen in Serenity where the Reavers burst out of the clouds to blow stuff up and do their whole rape/kill routine, if you look in the bottom left you can see the same Reaver ship from the pilot. THAT WAS DESTROYED! Just though I'd point it out.

Less than a week till Firefly on SCI-FI!

The ship in the pilot wasnt destroyed...if you listen to the commentary Joss and Nathan point this out, saying that they didnt destroy it just slowed it down enough to escape...

Not sure about the commentary, but that certainly was in the dialogue in the ep. I believe it is Zoe (?) that said, no way that'll catch us now.

As well, it could be a different ship, but same model.

Probably should listen to the commentary. But it did look kinda blowed up in the pilot.

The explosion was caused by Serenity's engine doing its Firefly thing in atmo. Not supposed to do that...probably because it causes that big fireball.

I'm sure there would be more then one ship of that design as well. Presumably the Reaver ships all came from whatever was docked at Miranda at the time and there were most likely several vessels of the same design.

Same scene, take a look in the upper right.

It's safe to say there's more than one of that model.

Anyway, a little major structural damage never bothered Reivers much. Hull breach? You can probably plug it with snacks.

Can't really write them off unless you actually blow the ship up into little pieces while it's in vacuum.

Or shut them in a room with our main gal.
