Hey all--

I'm new here, having just discovered Firefly! Needless to say I loved it and immediately rushed out to buy Serenity, which I loved too (though not nearly as much as the series)

So, what's happening?

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Welcome to the site & the fandom GKromrei! Glad to have you aboard.

Not much going on right now as you can see by checking out the recent threads. Adam & Alan have landed series on tv & Nathan has a pseudo horror movie coming out the end of this month on the big screen. Waiting on shiny comics (no date yet) & a miniature Serenity statue which comes out in April.

Be sure to spread the word about Firefly & Serenity to everyone you know. The more browncoats (fans of the show) that we bring into the fold the better our chances at a future.

Howdy all! I'm new here myself, having finally signed up after a couple of weeks of browsing. I'm in the DFW area, and I guess I need to go drop a pin on the map!

I can't get over the quality of some of the fiction, art and movies in the Blue Sun Room. Give it a look! It's worth a daily perusal. Reading for a couple of hours a day might be starting to impact work though!

Think of it as evolution in action.

Why, I thank you for the *fine* coat! It's just right. I guess this entitles me to get into a few fights on Unification Day.

I'll check 'em out. I've only picked up 3 or 4 writers so far, but I'm afraid the addiction must be fed. You guessed it, that means... more writers!

As a relative noob, only finding Serenity (and then Firefly) by happenstance, I've started proselytizing, but there are so many folks that *should* have known about this that don't! Oh my.

I personally found Serenity based on a great review in the Dallas Morning News. The phrase "What Star Wars should have been" sticks in my head. Firefly was a short step later. I don't think there's anything left to buy!

Sigh. There really IS no place you can be, once you've found Serenity.
