...IF we get firefly back on tv, or movie series, or BDM 2/3/4/5/..234872952.. are our BDHs going to be too old to make it seem as if the story was continuous given a few months in between the storylines?

Oh yeah, those who read my last thread, i finally watched the fourth disk and..WOW best disk in the entire series, i only wish now that there was more. Is it bad that i get sad when i think of that?

AND also, CW...are we writing letters to them or is the consensus that it is a waste of time?

Thanks in advanced for the replies.

Did you notice the age difference in Serenity? I think it'll be fine, not like these are kids.

They supposedly planned a 2 and 3. But it still depends on profit earned.

A lot of us felt depressed when it finally hit us that there are no more discs, there are no more episodes. It still makes me sad :'(.

There is no address for the "CW". Everyone's sending the letters to some lady at UPN. I sent 2 last week.... But uuhhh now I'm getting lazy :P.

And yeah I highly doubt though I would like to wish that the show returns to TV. I think it's pretty probable that it would get another movie but a TV show again....

I think the ones that would most likely be able to do it would be NBC or Scifi. Since Universal, NBC and the Scifi channel all are connected.... I think Universal owns NBC and NBC owns Scifi.

But Fox own's Firefly.

I love the fourth disc too - Heart of Gold and Objects in Space are both excellent. The Message is remarkable too, especially if you understand the full implications of the Funeral Scene at the end of the movie. Makes me dab my eyes. Make sure to watch the easter egg with Adam Baldwin singing Hero of Canton in the special features :)

I just got myself the full screen version of Serenity DVD and the Firefly soundtrack from Walmart. Hope they count toward the overall sale figures. Actually I rented the widescreen DVD and ripped it onto another disc but I have this great urge to play my part in supporting the show. Woohoo...

You can do wonders with make-up and lighting. So age, not so much a worry.

And I think we all get sad when we think of that.

yeah i found that upn lady's address, guess ill be writing a few letters this weekend while im not lazy, that way if i get lazy ill have some back up letters. Probably won't help much, but it doesnt hurt to try and who knows if we all keep sending letters maybe we'll have a battlestar galactica or sped up startrek scenario. Like kaylee, we should try and keep on the bright side of this gorram situation. Hand-written letters work best right?

About the funerial scene in The Message, what implications were present exactly? Is that the last episode that they filmed perhaps?

Yes, it is. While they were filming the episode (possibly that scene, my memory is hazy) they got the call from Fox saying they were cancelled; thus, the people involved considered the funeral scene to be their "goodbye" to Firefly.

Oh wow. Talk about irony and coincedence.

Does anyone know how to get the BDHs to go to the San Diego ComiCon this year? Its going to be my first as a browncoat, and i KNOW i was there when they did show up, but I had no idea what this show was, so I never went to go visit them. I know because i've gone every year for the past 5 years. Well, if anyone knows how to get them to come, or if they are already comming that'd be great to know.
