I used to do these things when I was younger, had a model kit for the USS Voyager. Didn't get very far though, I sucked at painting the damn thing. I was much better at the ones you just piece together and didn't have to paint. I had models of an SR-71 Blackbird and an F-22 Raptor.

Looks great. Wish I could afford one. I've always enjoyed models of this type. Especially the painting stage, when I get to really play around.

Hey - that guy thinks Serenity is ugly....I think it's the most beautiful ship ever imagined!!!

Very cool there is a model for "model-type folk" to assemble. When I was a kid I spent a VERY LONG time putting together a model of the USS Enterprise (the aircraft carrier) with my grandfather. I have very fond memories...but now that I'm old and impatient with absolutely no artistic talent or free time (not to mention the tendency to fill the free time I do have with excessive drinking), I'll wait for all of you to put it together and post photos!!
