I know that there are a handful of places to buy t-shirts, but I was wondering if anybody had suggestions on where I should go to purchase mine. I've checked out the cafepress stuff and wasn't impressed. Can anyone help me?

Well, gonna take a chance and blow my horn a little... I have a Serenity themed Cafe Press shop, which you may or may not have seen.

If you haven't, take a look and maybe you'll find something you like. A lot of people like the stuff there. Link below...

Wow. When I saw this I thought, "Oh boy, another Cafe Press shop" (I think that's in the same vein with "Oh boy another church sign"). But I clicked on it anyway. This is the first Cafe Press shop I've seen with any sense of quality, period, Firefly or not. I just thought I'd pay you a compliment about it :)

To the OP, Hot Topic has some shirts but I'd look else where if I were you. Hot Top tends to be pricey and poorly made. I'd consider 11thHour's Cafe Press shop, even though I don't know anything about them.

Actually, I have seen your stuff and it is quite cool. And, actually, I already ordered one of your shirts, course, nobody warned me that the images become duller on the black shirts. But it's all good.

Thank you for the order... sorry about the image on the black T-shirt being a bit on the dull side. This is a relatively new product with Cafe Press and they are still working to improve the image quality. Apparently printing on black tends to dull down images unless they are of the stark, graphic, areas-with-just-one-color type of thing.

Sometimes I'll order my own products for two reasons, one because I like using them myself, and two, because I want to check on just how much changes between the image I provide and the finished product. I haven't ordered a black t-shirt yet... perhaps I should just to see for myself what happens in the translation.

Well, even though the image came out somewhat muted, I still hope you enjoy wearing the shirt. Thanks again.

I actually just bougt a shirt from Hot Topic last weekend. It was $17 and I thought the quality was very good. I have the Serenity logo shirt and will definitely pick up the Browncoat shirt when it's back in stock.

I also have CafePress shirts of varying quality. They give a rating on the weight of the shirt. I find that it's pretty accurate. The ladies shirts run small and thin (clearly a man designed them). The mens shirts are long and boxy. Ladies may want to hem them a bit first.

Happy Shopping

BROWNCOAT1

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I personally like Bluesunshirts.com:

http://www.bluesunshirts.com/

Alex is a standup browncoat & ships fast if your size is in stock.

Not trying to take away from any other browncoat run site or store, personally I have ordered from many (my wife would say too many) & love the products I have received.

Another you might want to check out:

Thanks you much for the input, I was wondering how good the quality was on the blue sun shirts. I think I might have to get one of those.

Check out www.bluemoonstuff.com All three of the shirts I got from this guy are amazing. He is pretty damn fast at sending out orders too.
