Hi everyone. My name is Rad (really). Just found Firefly and Serenity. I can't believe they killed this show. I am totally in love with the characters and the writing. Watched Serenity last night and I'm still reeling at the loss of Wash and Book.

Forgive my newness, but is there any hope of additional installments in movie or TV form?

Where's the Sci-Fi channel? Why aren't they grabbing this?

Welcome to the site Rad! We're always glad to have a new fan join the ranks. Pull up some space & make yourself right at home.

Sci Fi did air the episodes on their Sci Fi Friday nights awhile back, and have run a Firefly Marathon a couple of times now. I would like to see it as part of their regular programming, but so far no luck.

So, how did you discover the show?

By the way, you might want to put *SPOILERS* in your title to insure that people who have not seen the movie yet don't accidently stumble across the info you divulged.

Oh! thanks for the headups on the spoilers thing. I did as you suggested.

I found it because some friends of mine had watched it and thought it was great. So I picked up the movie. But then they were "NO! you can't see the movie without the show!" So I picked up the show.

From the first episode I was hooked. Can't believe Fox was so STOOPID as to show the episodes in wacked out order too.

TV execs must be morons.

Howdy, Rad, and welcome. Seems to be another influx of recruits lately, and there ain't nothing shinier than seeing more of us joining the ranks.

Yeah, still up in the air over at the SciFi channel... I think they just like teasing us :)

Still, I think the powers-that-be are still waiting to see how the DVD sales are going to pan out and such.

In the meantime, make yourself comfortable. Lots of real shiny folks around here, and I'm sure they'll be dropping by to say hello as well. I've found we're a support group as much as anything, trying to keep our collective hopes up until Serenity takes flight again.

Keep the faith, spread the word, and remember that we're all holding the line until Mal gets back.

Thanks for the welcome. I am just messed up today after watching the movie and knowing I don't have anything left to watch.

Hopefully, someone will come to their senses and revive our friends from hybernation.

No problem Rad, just want to keep some of the new people from getting riled in case they haven't seen the BDM yet.

Glad to hear word of mouth from other people got you to check it out. You know of course as a browncoat (Fan of the show) you are now obligated to spread the word yourself.
