Zero-gravity 3D soccer.

Okay, I just made that up... but if I had a zero-gravity 3D soccer team, I'd name it the Fighting Elves.

I don't disagree on any particular point.

I wore a Notre Dame shirt, complete with a cartoon leprechaun ready to punch someone out, to one of the Serenity sneak previews last year and NO-ONE GOT THE JOKE!! (fighting elves, Fighting Irish... duh!)

MAL "You only gotta scare him."
JAYNE "Pain is scary..."

It might be some futuristic version of soccer.

The thing I'd like to know is if golf exists in the future. I'd like to think so since golf is the only sport I can play.

I always imagined a comedy fanfic of the crew making a delivery to some recluse millionaire who has his own private golf course, and because the crew did such a good job delivering the balls and various golf stuff, they're given some R and R and the opportunity to play a fresh new golf course that's never been played on.

They all split into groups of threes and you see how they each handle themselves on the course.

Mal-Not very good at the start, but with Inara's coaching, he come around.

Inara-A pro. She teaches Mal how to play.

Book and Zoe-OK players. Finds the zen that comes with the game.

Simon-A natural talent at this, given the fact that he's played so many times with the cheif of staff back at the hospital.

Kaylee-A complete klutz who uses this opportunity for Simon to get closer to her. Whole game is really foreplay for her.

River-Spends all her time looking at the grass, and the sky, doing calculations in her head and taking up a lot of time holding up the course. Able to make 18 consecutive holes in one.

Jayne and Wash- Both suck immensely at this. Jayne spends the majority of his time in the rough and gets so frustrated that at eventually he just loads his ball into one of his guns and fires it at the hole. Wash, on the other hand, could care less. He's just happy to be trying the legendary golf move passed on through the ages known as the "Gilmore Move".

Might write it this summer once YCGHA is finally finished.

"There's only one "Return" ok, and it ain't "of the King", it's "of the Jedi."

"Maybe we should start calling your friend 'Padme' because he loves 'Mannequin Skywalker' so much, Right? (imitating robot) Danger...danger...my name is Anakin...my shitty acting is ruining saga."

Excerpt of internet teaser for CLERKS 2.

Now that might be a golf game I'd actually enjoy watching.

The Fightin' Elves took home the top prize in the Flamming Dodgeball Championships because of the simple fact that they were all too tiny to hit.

I don't know but "Fightin' Elves" make me think of that poncy elven army ready to do battle at Helm's Deep But I could see elves going in for pretty strange sports, such as curling. Space curling, that is. Shoving planets around and such
