Hello everyone, another newbie here, and judging by all the threads, I wont be the last. I am so glad to have found this site, somewhere to come when my need for all things FF rears it's head.
I have never been a big SciFi fan but consider me converted. I only found Serenity and FF a few weeks ago but in that short time I have watched them over and over, even managed to convert a few friends too.
I can't believe that this show was cancelled. Will they ever bring it back? Will there be a sequel to Serenity? I sure hope so.

Wow, this steady influx of converts is astounding; a true testament to the power of the show, without a doubt.

Welcome! I don't think we'll ever get tired of welcoming new people... heck, this keeps up we'll have our own Independent Army soon.

We're (well most of us I think) are not standing around waiting for Firefly to come back in TV form (I think that's pretty much done) but another movie or mini-series seems feasible, though I don't think anyone really knows how likely. If worse came to worse, I'd hope they'd continue via comic books with the original crew... I would actually start collecting a comic book series then :p

Anyhow, welcome aboard again, nice to have more folks to laugh and grieve with. Makes everything a lot easier, and a lot better :)

Hello, hello, serenity04, we're glad to have you aboard.

In the galley there is a buffet which needs to be questioned:

Mangos, papayas, strawberries, cookies, sticky rice and miscellaneous veggies and other little bits for the stir-fry.

I've heard a rustling among the SLiTHER fans about offering 'possum and Mr. Pibb. Here's the deal:

Blue Sun operates a special bottler of "antique formulas" which has a Mr. Pibb line currently running. They'll take our order and we'll be picking it up with the post when it comes in.

'Possum is a bigger problem. They have free-range 'possum on that planet where Simon and Summer were kidnapped, but we'd have to get 'em from hill-folk, and the bun's a mite afraid. The alternative is farmed 'possum from a variety of rim-worlds, the best allegedly being produced by the Triumph settlers. I leave it up to you.
(Oh, and they have to be shipped live....)

Thanks folks for the warm welcome, everyone here seems real nice.

As for how I found Serenity....I was looking for a DVD to hire and I chanced upon Serenity, I hired it, watched it and enjoyed it then found out about the series. Unfortunatley I had missed it on TV but I went straight out and bought it, watched it and loved it. There began the obsession!

As for my converts, well after watching the pilot episode I couldn't help but ring some friends and get them over to watch the rest, how could I resist? Not only that but I have had 3 friends who have birthdays in these few weeks and can you guess what I bought them!! So far the only person I havn't been able to convert has been my husband but I have a sneaky suspition that he would side with Alliance anyways so I might just leave him alone..lol..

You'd say the same about me (I did sympathize for the GOVERNMENT in V for Vendetta, LOL, I hated the film), but in the 'Verse, I am a complete Browncoat!
