hi, just found this site by accident admittedly while looking for news on firefly and hoping that there will be another series. personally, i believe firefly to be the best show to grace our television sets and DVD collections. i'm of course gonna stick my twopenneth in on most threads on this site. and, yes, i'll be civil, most of the time... ...

not really much of a story. i was a fan of both buffy and angel. and they turned me into a whedonite so i heard that he'd done another show, i.e firefly. ordered the series boxset dvds, also saw that it had Nathan Fillon in it (mmmmm nathan \

) i put the first dvd in, and by the time my day was through i realised there were no more dvd's to watch :(. i can't believe fox axed such an ingenius show. (since i'm a new fan, the horror has been fairly recent) so that's how i became a browncoat as well as much more of a whedonite.

I think the horror is new for all of us, every time we finish watching the DVDs and realizing there are now more.
I was only recently converted; ever since the BDM, and I managed to out-obsess (though I don't like to think of it as "obsessed", exactly, just "very in to") my wife, a fan of both Buffy and Angel. I disliked Buffy on site (still do, sorry, please don't stake me!), but got into Angel...but I could also live without it. I first heard of Firefly when it was already airing, but as it was another show by that Buffy guy, I was not interested...wish I had not been so narrow-minded. Now, however, I am right where I belong, a Browncoat holding the line.

There's room up here for you, too.
