I cant seem to find anywhere on the site that tells me how many members there are. Does anyone know?

No, but we passed 20,000 a couple of days ago.

Next time somebody posts saying they're brand new to the site, mouse-over their user ID and look down in your status bar. The URL will end with their registration number. That'll give you a pretty good idea how many there are.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Here's the User Profile page.

It takes a relatively long time to load, because there's so many of us.

Okay thanks guys.

It'd be nice to have the number of members indicated on the main page. Maybe its just to much of a hassle though.

Funny you should ask, I asked Browncoat the same question a couple of days ago and here is what he told me. Thanks again BC

Looks like the latest person to register is # 19,981.

Keep in mind some of these accounts have gone inactive from not being used, some
are duplicates when people forget the passwords, but it appears that about
18,000 or so are unique accounts and are active.

Thanks again.

I only ask because i've joined http://www.shieldforum.com/index.php .. I love The Shield, it aint no Firefly but it is good. Anyways the shield has 5 seasons so far and the shield fan site has only 3000 members.. I'm trying to convince them that Firefly is worth watching.. hardly anyone there has heard of Firefly.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I watch The Shield too Calhoun. Pretty good show. Too bad it is always nearly a year in between seasons.

Anyway, I am not surprised few there, if any, have heard of Firefly or Serenity. They are on opposite ends of the viewing spectrum.

I hear ya. I have found though that watchers of GOOD TV shows can make the spectrum crossover quite easily. You and I are cases in point.

I'll continue to work on them. I just like it when people discover and fall in love with Firefly. I dont know why..
